McDermott All Alone is the stage name for Sean Kenefick, the surviving member of duo McDermott's Hat.
McDermott's Hat, made of up Sean and Donnell Wesley (with sometimes guest vocalist Melissa Smith), was a San Diego band that produced the EP Blue. They had two songs that played on local radio station 91X: Ignore My Eyes and Rose Petal Fallen. The band broke up so that Sean and Donnell could pursue other interests, but they remained great friends until Donnell's passing in 2014.
